Chambersburg Road widening coordination

The city will apply for $750,000 in state funding to widen Chambersburg Road east of Bellefontaine Road to three lanes with curbs, water main, storm sewer, and a bike path. Construction wouldn't happen until 2028.

SR 202 / US 40 intersection capacity

Multiple speakers said the intersection at State Route 202 and US 40 is too tight for the oversized trailers this facility would move, with no turn lanes and no room to maneuver. ODOT reportedly has no widening plans and wasn't even aware of the project.
